A variety of collateral for digital product studio, Dovetail.
Dovetail (now Paloma), is an Australasian digital product studio creating world class digital products through the three pillars of the company; the Digital Product Studio, the Venture Studio, and the VC fund, Paloma Capital. The initial brand had a solid foundation with strong typography and layout guides, but wanted to develop it to show more of their personality through social media, the company’s blog page as well as event touchpoints.
The initial colour palette was minimal and only consisted of black and white, we expanded this to add a secondary palette of 3 colours, each representing a pillar of the company (Digital, Ventures & Capital). These colours can be used to directly refer to each pillar or as a muted gradient, representing the company as a whole unit.
Illustrations were also developed as another way to add depth to the brand. Inspiration was found through data visualisations as well as vintage scientific diagrams which resulted in a system of abstract shapes, iconography and minimal diagrams. This allowed for vast customisation and variety for all brand touchpoints.
This system was then implemented across all brand touchpoints, creating cohesion across mediums as well as between the internal and external brand communications.
This project was completed as a part of the design team at Paloma
